Favourite Book
So this one is easy, and I’m not going to go on about it because you’ve heard it all before. Assassin’s Apprentice by Robin Hobb is still top on my list of faves right now. If you want to know more about this love affair, check out my previous post.
Did I mention Robin’s writing is perfection? Robin is God? Yes? Okay, moving along…

I was in a recycled bookstore the other day, and completely blanked on the author’s name! It was tragic. All these books at my fingertips, and I had no idea where to look for that one. [sigh]. I’ll just request it from the library.
Tragedy! I honestly do not remember the last time I borrowed a book from the library…I just can’t stand to give them back!
oh, that is SUCH a good book! I’m with you, I adore Robin Hobb!! right now I’m on book 2 in her Soldier Son trilogy. . . it’s not as good as the Assassin books, but that still makes it better than 90% of what’s out there.
I haven’t read the Soldier Sun Trilogy but mum is reading them at the moment and has said the same thing. I’m on the Tawny Man Trilogy right now, where the story of Fitz continues! weeee! Thanks for stopping by :)
Why doesn’t Amazon have the re-released editions? Boo! (on Amazon)
Oh no! I know The Book Depository has them. Free delivery worldwide!
Oh yay! Thanks!
Aw… looks like those are the UK covers only. They’re currently unavailable. :( I’m done whining now. I can be patient, I swear.
Hey Alexis, not sure where you’re looking, but here is the link to the 1st book in the Farseer Trilogy, Assassin’s Apprentice. It’s available, has the new cover, and a discount! Woo! Pfft to being patient…I am unreasonably inpatient when it comes to books! :P
My bad, that was for Assassin’s Quest, the last in the series. But they do have Assassin’s Apprentice here.
Katy- lol… thank you for linking to it, but honestly, when I follow your links, it says the books are unavailable and out of stock. I wonder what that’s about. However, I did enter my email so they will notify me when it becomes available.
Thanks for your help!!! :)
Well that is just a royal pain in the butt isn’t it? How very weird! Hope it doesn’t tease you like that for too much longer!
I know! My heart can’t take it!
I absolutely loved Robin’s Farseer Trilogy. I haven’t read this one but imagine it’s just as good :-)
This is the first in the Farseer Trilogy…but with the pretty new cover. Absolutely amazing books! I’m so pleased with all the Robin Hobb love around!
Hey thanks for the “like” on my blog, and for this articlw, I think you’ve turned me onto a new series!
My aim in life is to convert everyone I know to this series! Thanks for stopping by :)
